About Us

Tom is a former U.S. Army Officer who served with 2/2 ACR and 3/4 CAV in Germany before he got out in 1995 and we moved to the U.S. While serving as Platoon Leader of his Squadron's Scout Platoon, his call sign was "Sabre Red Tango": Sabre was for the 3rd Squadron, 4th US Cavalry, Red was for the First Platoon, and Tango was for the Platoon Leader.

Claudia was born and raised in Germany, and was a registered florist before she became a German - English - Spanish translator for the Adidas shoe company. She worked on the design team led by Craig Johnston that developed the first Adidas Predator soccer boot.

We have four children, Tommy, Melissa, Christopher, and Nicholas, and enjoy gardening and soccer. Tom works as a Computer Systems Engineer while Claudia chases kids and keeps everyone organized.
